CIBR (Central insecticide for registration ) Registration

Any person or firm desiring or engaged in the business of import or manufacture of any insecticide may apply to CIBR Registration with in a period of seventeen month from the date of commencement . Separate application for each such insecticide in CIBR.

The enforcement of Act was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture in the year 1970 by the Ministry of Health and family Planning. The department of Agriculture of this Ministry took immediate steps to frame the Rules and constituted CIBR (Central insecticides Board and Registration committee.)
